a warm spread

our bed has become an island of colour with the retro quilt i acquired from an ebay auction a little while ago. it is probably one of my most favourite things right now.

in the picture above there is a little orange patterned pillow. i made the pillow cover at my very first sewing class at the workroom. the studio space is pretty cool and relaxed with different classes available as well as pay by the hour sewing machine use. i have already signed up for another class that is happening early next month. my ultimate goal is to make my own quilt, hopefully with these classes and some practice i'll be able to make one.
